Patrol Trauma Medicine (PTM)
1-day in-person course with classroom and scenarios
Prepare for the moment that matters most.
Patrol Trauma Medicine (PTM) is a hands-on, scenario-driven course designed specifically for police officers and deputies. This course focuses on point-of-injury care—the critical interventions that save lives in the seconds and minutes before EMS can take over.
Built on the principles and guidelines established by the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC), PTM equips law enforcement professionals with the skills, mindset, and confidence to act decisively in high-stress, life-threatening situations.
Participants will learn to:
Identify and treat preventable causes of death in the field
Apply tourniquets, wound packing, chest seals, and airway management
Operate under stress in realistic, force-on-force medical scenarios
Integrate trauma care into active threat environments
Whether you're on a solo beat or part of a tactical team, PTM bridges the gap between patrol and professional lifesaver—because in the worst moments, you're the first responder.
